One time one built a nest down inside Dustin's boot. He was not happy when he found it and we all could not stop laughing. You gave me an idea that I could stuff plastic grocery bags into the mousehole to keep her out of the shed. Of course, repairing the door would be the better option, but it would also require much more work. A plastic bag will work just fine, I think. Thanks.Jeanniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11333123227073032453noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-424277252952787351.post-2784487036698603402017-08-07T22:31:30.423-05:002017-08-07T22:31:30.423-05:00We had to tie up some plastic take out containers ...We had to tie up some plastic take out containers to serve as blockades when a particularly persistent robin was convinced the porch lights were the perfect place to start her little family. A friend allowed it to happen at their house and they were attacked every time they used the door.Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18184551540374933832noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-424277252952787351.post-76432277861431529802017-08-06T22:55:47.484-05:002017-08-06T22:55:47.484-05:00No Sally, No! I can knock the nest down and clean up the mess, it will be nasty, but she might build it again. I have taken all of my flower arrangements and potted plants off of the front porch so she won't return there. She is very irritating.

Maybe if I keep taking pictures, that might run them off!Jeanniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11333123227073032453noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-424277252952787351.post-43604344485381369522017-08-06T21:13:20.211-05:002017-08-06T21:13:20.211-05:00Oh my gosh.....baby anything is cute, except snake...Oh my gosh.....baby anything is cute, except snakes and alligators. Keep an eye on them and as soon as they leave the nest shut the shed door before Momma decides to lay more eggs! We had a pair in the lattice room and as soon as they kicked a batch out of the nest they were putting more eggs in it....house wrens...they have lots of babies in one season.Sallyhttps://mynewenglandflowerbeds.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
