Beautiful flowers! The irises are magnificent. I know that many sorts of irises we can buy here come from US-plant breeding companies. Same with lilies. Enjoy this beauty in your garden! Christel
Beautiful! I love all the flowers you posted. It's always surprising to me how, in different parts of the country, plants grow together that don't here. Hellebore doesn't bloom when Peonies and Irises do.
My hellebores began blooming in January. I think they are still blooming because they are in deep, deep shade. They are looking quite worn out now; glad I got a picture when I did.
Wow! Beautiful! I wish I could grow flowers as well as you. Mine tend to look good JUST long enough for me to take a picture and then die back on me. The Johnny Jump Ups the previous owners planted willy nilly come up every year, but otherwise I'm stuck with a few marigolds that don't really go anywhere no matter how much I chop off the dead heads on them and dandelions. Right now, dandelions are reigning supreme and the chickens are enjoying me dropping some greens off to them everyday *laugh*.
None of those are blooming here yet. Lilly of the valley are and bleeding heart. Irises will be out soon. Lilacs are half done. Bridal veil are magnificent. Peonies have barely budded.

ReplyDeleteThe secret is to take the picture FAST before they die then no one knows the difference.
