A Tree in the Path?
As we were leaving the restaurant and returning to the parking lot, I noticed this tree right in the middle of the path. Why????? Every person must step off the rock stepping stones to walk around the tree. Obviously not wheelchair accessible for an upscale restaurant. What short-sighted person designed this garden? Did they not realize the tree would grow wider? This begs the question, which came first, the tree or the path? Surely there is some logical reason for this blunder, but I just can't imagine what it could be.

PS: how did you like Flight Behaviour?
I love it! But don't tell me how it ends. I got halfway through it and then someone else ordered it so I could not renew it. NOT FAIR! So I put it back on hold so they can't renew it either. Ha! Ha! I will be finishing it soon.
DeleteOf course I wouldn't!!!! Who do you think I am??? ;)
DeleteWell done! That'll teach them.

There are questions that -most likely- remain unanswered.
ReplyDeleteThis seems to be such a mystery.
That is one stubborn looking tree!
ReplyDeleteHelene, the people who built the path must be just as stubborn! Perhaps they are playing a game of "chicken"; who will move first?
